We feel immense pleasure to share that the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, has recognized our research journal Īqān in Y-Category. We are genuinely thankful to HEC for this recognition. We believe that the challenges posed by the modern age to religious thinking can only be resolved by researching religion, in our case Islam. The research journal Īqān aims to publish this kind of research in order to enhance the quality in the field of religious studies. For the current issue, we received a large number of papers for publication. However, after double-blind peer-review, only seven best and high-quality papers of national and international academics have been published. This issue contains one English, one Arabic, and five Urdu articles. The selection of these articles was carried out according to the defined standards of HEC as well as in the light of internal and external peer reviewers’ recommendations and other scientific and technical considerations. This issue could not have been published without the invaluable efforts of all our fellows involved in the fruition of this project. We are truly thankful to all participants, national and international experts, and members of the Institutional and Advisory Board for their conscientious work and support, and we are optimistic that they will continue to do so in the future.
